Global Passion is a 501c3 non-profit ministry. Anyone who makes a donation to your trip will receive a tax-deductible receipt at the end of the year from our office (the exception are those who give for their own trip, or parents who send money for their child, since they are "receiving goods" for their donation).
As a non-profit Global Passion must adhere to federal tax law which states that all donations become the sole property of Global Passion.
Global Passion Financial Policies are outlined as follows:
Deposit is due: once you have decided on a trip that best suits you and your calling, an application should already been filled out and sent online or already be in your possession ready to be sent with your deposit. Your deposit is non refundable. Once we have received your deposit and process your application, a payment schedule will be sent to you outlining the due dates of your payments with the final payment due 30 days out from your trip. This payment schedule should be read thoroughly, signed and returned to the Global Passion office. Please be sure to make a photocopy for your records.
In the unfortunate event that you or your group would need to cancel your payments are not refundable or transferable. The reason for this policy to three fold:
1. Upon receiving your application we make commitments to our missionaries and host sites.
2. Staff hiring commitments
3. Budget projections
Easy Payment Schedules:
Upon registering for a trip you or your group will receive a welcome packet that contains an easy to read payment schedule. You do not have to wait until the due date to send in your payment. This helps us pay early for things which keeps costs down.
There are four payments you will be responsible for:
1. Your deposit
2. First payment will be due 120 days before you leave for your trip
3. Second payment will be due 90 days before you leave for your trip
4. Third payment will be due 60 days before you leave for your trip
5. Final payment will be due 30 days before you leave for your trip
Air Transportation:
Round trip economy class on a major airline is included in the airfare. Airport taxes and surcharges are included as well but are subject to Government approval and changes. If increased before departure the additional cost must be borne by passenger.
Cancellation Policy:
No matter when the cancellation occurs the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations that occur after the purchase of airfare: according to airline regulations purchased airfare is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If trip is cancelled between 120 days before departure and 30 days before departure All money will be refunded minus deposit, any fees, project funds already distributed, and a 15% administration fee of total trip cost.
If a trip is canceled after 30 days before departure, then all air costs and ground costs will be forfeited.
Unpaid Balance
In order to travel with Global Passion, all invoices must be paid before date of departure.
