Though we are an approved ministry under the Northern California/ Nevada District of the Assemblies of God, we send many teams that are from other denominations or private schools. Below is our statement of faith that all groups and individuals should read before taking a Global Passion trip.
We believe
- In one God, existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- In the perfect creation of earth and man, man's separation from God by his sin, and man's salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The Bible to be the infallible, inspired, eternal, and authoritative Word of God.
- In the deity of Jesus Christ, God's only Son; and His virgin birth, sinless life, supernatural miracles, atoning and redeeming death through the shedding of His blood, victorious resurrection and ascension, and future return for His bride.
- In the infilling of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth, endows us with power to do the will of the Father and intercedes for us and through us.
- That the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God for empowered witness, as promised by Jesus Christ to all believers who ask for it.
- In the eternal nature of man's soul: that the saved will spend eternity in heaven and the lost will be separated from God forever.
- In Jesus' command to all believers to preach the Gospel to all nations.
